Hot Air Bloon is a remake of the classic javascript game Helicopter.
Hot Air Bloon is a free, online game (only singleplayer is available though) made in Adobe Flash, widely known as a flash game. Hot Air Bloon is developed by Ninja Kiwi, and can be found on their website at this address. Ninja Kiwi has developed over 100 flash games, and responsible for the highly addictive and highly POP-ular flash game series Bloons, of which, this is a spin-off.
But enough about Ninja Kiwi, it is time to review Hot Air Bloon. Hot Air Bloon is not a great game, more like a time-filler. All you do is click on the mouse to make your zeppelin float higher, and let go to make it fall. Throw in a few obstacles, and different backgrounds and you've got a game. It is addictive though, as you just want to get that little bit further. It is free as well. That's all I've got to say, really.
Now, for the scoring.
Gameplay 3/10
Clicking the mouse and letting go again? Boring!
Graphics 5/10
With old-style 2D graphics it kind of sucks, but the backgrounds and obstacles look nice.
Sound 5/10
The music is ok, but there are no sound effects.
Fun 8/10
It isn't very fun but it is addictive.
Campaign 6/10
Boring but indefinite.
Replayability 10/10
REALLY ADDICTIVE!!
Multiplayer 0/10
No multiplayer whatsoever.
Control Scheme 8/10
Clicking the mouse and letting go again? Easy!
Originality 2/10
Kind of copies Helicopter, but with the Bloons style it is better.
Extras 3/10
There are no extras, but I'll give it 3, as the game is totally free.
Overall score: 50/100
Hot Air Bloon is a boring game, but it is free and addictive.
