PC Game review - Command And Conquer: Red Alert review.

Command And Conquer: Red Alert was a decent game back in the day, but too old nowadays.

Command And Conquer: Red Alert is an RTS game from '95, that is not fun compared to modern RTS's, but was good when it was released. It has got bad looking graphics, that look like a toddler drew them. It has slightly better than average music, and the FMV videos (a trademark classic of the series) look shabby and pixelated. The actors in them seem out of place. The missions are very easy, and never get quite hard enough.

Now, for the scoring.

Gameplay            4/10
A regular Command & Conquer game but too old.
Graphics              4/10

Too old.
Sound                   6/10

Voice acting is not great but the music is o.k.
Fun                       5/10

You might be happy with this game if you like the classics.
Campaign             5/10

Storyline is good, but the missions are boring.
Replayability        4/10

You will never want to play the campaign again, nor the multiplayer.
Multiplayer          4/10
The multiplayer is just like a game of normal Command & Conquer.
Control Scheme   6/10
Controls are easy to use and master.
Originality            7/10
This was an innovative sequel to the first major RTS.
Extras                   0/10
Absolutely nothin'.

Overall score: 45/100

Command And Conquer: Red Alert is too old for words.
